Dan Lipner is an Attorney Contractor based in Washington, D.C. A major part of Dan’s work is conducting legal research on large scale government investigations and civil cases. These cases often involve document reviews including Antitrust, White Collar Crime, Toxic Torts and Nuclear Waste. Dan principally responds to investigations by the Department of Justice, the FTC and SEC.
Dan has served as a consultant and Campaign Manager for several campaigns including Congressman Sinner in 2014, Congressman Zimmerman in 2010 and 2011 and served as a Campaign Advisor for Congressional Race in 29th District of New York in 2008 and 2006.
Beyond Congressional campaigns, Dan served as the Senior Consultant for Advocacy and Outreach for the American Coalition for Clean Coal Electricity. In this role Dan was responsible for multi-state public education training tour of West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Ohio, where he recorded print, TV and radio interviews, conducted education and advocacy for local elected officials, and handled New Media communications.
Additionally, Dan was the Political Director for the Truman National Security Project in 2008 where he created the National Security Manual and other Congressional Security Scholar Programs. In 2007 Dan served as the Iowa Field Director and Deputy State Director for the “Biden for President” campaign where he was responsible for caucus strategy and political outreach as well as overseeing candidate logistics, staffing and coordinating in-state communications.
